Keint-he Winery & Vineyards is one of the best wineries in Prince Edward County.
On your first visit, you’ll notice that the wine is just a bit different in an amazing way!
With more than just one vineyard, the grapes from the limestone-rich soils really do make the difference.
Also, they use France’s Burgundy region as a benchmark for their wine-making.

Known as one of the top wineries in Prince Edward County, Keint-he Winery & Vineyards has three different areas where the grapes are grown.
And if you’re feeling hungry, they also have a culinary program that offers seasonal cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients.
The Three Keint-he Winery & Vineyards
- Big Lake Vineyard

Big Lake Vineyard
Big Lake Vineyard is where they grow the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Melone de Bourgogne grapes.
This is the vineyard you see from the road.
When you purchase your glass of wine you can enjoy the stunning views of the water from out front.
In addition to their beautiful setting, they also produce some great red wine here.
This was our third stop and we really didn’t want to leave as it was peaceful and wasn’t busy.
Check out my video of our self-guided wine tour where we made one of our stops Keint-he Winery & Vineyards.
Little Creek Vineyard
The Little Creek Vineyard is just around the corner.
This charming vineyard is located in an idyllic setting surrounded by forests and fields.
It produces a Pinot Noir and was one of the second oldest vineyards to be planned here in Prince Edward County.
This was the wine I bought straight away as the owner described it as the wine that was perfect for me.
Foxtail Vineyard
Last but not least is Foxtail Vineyard, which grows many varieties of grapes.
The produce range of reds including Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier but also some white wines including Chardonnay, St. Laurent, and Pinot Gris.
All of these wines are made using traditional Burgundian methods.
So if you’re looking for a truly authentic wine-tasting experience, Keint-he Winery is the place for you!
Keint-he Winery & Vineyards Wines
Some of the top wines we choose to taste in the many visits to this winery.
2017 Little Creek Pinot Noir Benway Block – Light cherry notes and I find it very smooth.
2017 Little Creek Pinot Noir Closson Block – A bit bold, Awesome tannin with a clean, fresh finish.
2018 Greer Road Pinot Noir – A slight hint of oak with light tannins.
2018 Greer Road Chardonnay – Hey! This one was impressive for even me a red wine drinker. There were hints of light lemon, and spice, and finished with fruit.
