“Maple in the County” is an annual festival celebrating maple syrup production in Prince Edward County, Ontario, and takes place in the spring starting in March every year.

Maple in the County Festival: What to Expect
Maple in the County is a celebration of one of Canada’s most iconic ingredients – maple syrup!
Guests will have the opportunity to take part in various activities at stations throughout the county such as tapping trees, collecting sap, boiling sap into syrup, and tasting freshly made syrup.
In addition to these hands-on activities, there are also demonstrations by experienced producers that will give guests a glimpse into traditional and modern methods of syrup production.
The festival also offers a wide range of other activities and entertainment for all ages, including live music performances from local artists.
Often times there are art exhibits showcasing works inspired by maple syrup production, food trucks serving up dishes featuring local ingredients such as maple syrup, craft vendors selling unique items related to the event theme, and much more.
