Located at 11369 Loyalist Pkwy, Prince Edward, it’s very close to home for me so I stop by often. Here is why!

Lake on the Mountain Brewery is a very well-known brewery located in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

The brewery was founded in 2001 by Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company. It has been in operation ever since.

Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company is open:

Wednesday to Sunday – Sun 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

It’s open on most holidays but not Christmas.

This Prince Edward County Brewery is best known for its award-winning beer, which is brewed using water from the nearby Lake on the Mountain.

The brewery also offers a variety of other products, including cider, mead, and wine.

In addition to its delicious beer, Lake on the Mountain Brewery is also known for its fun and festive atmosphere.

The brewery hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including live music, comedy shows, and dance parties.

Whether you’re looking to try some of the best beer in Prince Edward County or just want to have a good time, Lake on the Mountain Brewery is the place to be.

The Main Reasons We Visit Lake on the Mountain Brewing

When you walk in your into the taproom and you can see the large brew tanks on site. Behind the counter is the bottle shop but out back is a beer garden worth relaxing in.

The County Brown Beer has a light hint of chocolate and a taffy taste. Stats are ABV 5% IBU 34.

They have their regular beer but often change things up with new beer. I always order a flight of the new beer and sit out back to try them out.

I think it is cool that they name some of their beer after certain places around the county like their Long Point Lager or Moon Over Glenora Dunkelweizen.  

Although Lake on the Mountain Brewing is located by the Glenora Ferry on the Loyalist Pkwy they have two restaurants up at Lake on the mountain about 2 min away, up the hill.

The Lake on the Mountain Inn has a food menu and you can see Lake on the Mountain right beside them. I always get the Mountain Burger and Yukon Gold fries although there are lots of other great options.

Across the road is the Miller House. You can enjoy a smaller menu but the view is spectacular.

The best craft beer in Prince Edward County depends on taste. Do you like lagers, IPA’s or Stouts? If you are coming to the county I suggest you try everything, then decide for yourself.

Lake on the Mountain Restaurant

You can buy any of the Lake on the mountain craft beer at the Miller House Restaurant or the Lake on the mountain Inn restaurant.

Both places have excellent views and great food.
