Prince Edward County offers a wide range of great places where visitors can stay while they’re visiting our favorite area, from hotels/motels in Picton to bed & breakfasts and resorts hidden among vineyards!
If you find yourself coming into town without plans then don’t worry because PEC has many different options to suit your itinerary.

I can tell you firsthand that canoeing and fishing are great in East Lake as there are Pike and lots of Bass.
They also have a saltwater pool, splash pad, a small sports court, and tons of other activities for families on-site.

It’s better to stay in Picton because there are better restaurant options, local shops, and more air B&B. Most of the wineries and shops close around 5pm in Wellington. Picton has more after-hours options like live music at the Acoustic Grill or Karaokie at the County Canteen.
Where you choose to stay always depends on what your purpose of travel is.
For example, Wellington has more wineries in such a close area making wine touring easier.
