Our Kinsip Fine Spirits Tasting
As I made my way to the tasting room, I was excited to finally experience the flavors that make Kinsip Distillery so unique.
With a wide variety of spirits available, including gin, whisky, and vodka, there was something for everyone.
We bought 3 tastings for $15 that included, Juniper’s Wit gin, Still’s Whisper vodka, and Maple whisky.
I can tell you firsthand that each spirit was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, making it difficult to choose a favorite.
I was particularly impressed by the rich and complex flavors of the aged maple whisky, a true testament to the craftsmanship of the Kinsip Distillery.
The large oak barrels filled with whiskey, brandy, and gin created a sublime atmosphere that I had made for a cool rustic vibe.
Entering the World of Craft Spirits
Not only did the Kinsip house provide me with an incredible sensory experience, but it also gave me a unique insight into how craft spirits are made.
From learning about different grains used in their mashes and barrels used for aging; to understanding the importance of distilling temperature and fermentation processes.
I grew an appreciation and unforgettable understanding of craft spirits production and why they taste different.
Why Fine Spirits Kinsip House is Different
What sets Kinsip Distillery apart from other distilleries is its use of local and foraged ingredients, resulting in unique and unexpected flavors.
Using Canadian wildflowers and local Lavender and locally sourced fruit, such as raspberries and cranberries, adds a burst of freshness and complexity to each sip.
I was continually surprised by the depth of flavor in each spirit, a true testament to the artistry of Kinsip’s distilling process.
The Gift Shop
