A Family-Owned Winery With a Story to Tell
Gravel Hill Vineyards is a family-owned winery, and its passion for winemaking is evident in every bottle of wine they produce.
Chris and Michelle are both trained winemakers, and they have been working hard to bring their vision to life.
They believe that every bottle of wine should tell a story, and they have put a lot of thought into their wines, from the name of each wine to the blend of grapes used to make each bottle.
The County Blend: A Wine to Remember
One of Gravel Hill Vineyards’ flagship wines is the 2018 Appaloosa Cabernet Franc, but they only had a few bottles left while we were there.
This wine is a testament to the quality of the grapes grown in this region and the passion and hard work of the winemaker.
The Appaloosa is a medium-bodied wine with a smooth finish and a hint of fruitiness. It’s the perfect wine to pair with meats or enjoy on its own as I do.
