We stayed at Cribs on Main just before Christmas for the downtown shopping and local music.

For Prince Edward County (PEC), these accommodations are exquisite, and Cribs on Main is located at the East end of the main street in Picton, Ontario, so it’s close to everything downtown. 

When I say it’s close to everything! I mean, you’re within walking distance of Coaches Sports Bar, The Royal Hotel and Restaurant, Bocado Tapas Restaurant, The Blue Sail Seafood Restaurant, and shopping, shopping, shopping.

• There was a huge bathtub in the middle of the room

• Fancy digital lighting
• Feature city views

Boy! What else was there? Oh yeah…Treats and a personalized welcome note!!

• Convenient parking in the back.
• Situated on Main Street by the historical Town Hill in Picton 
• Proximity to shopping, restaurants, bars, antique stores, Picton Harbour that leads to Lake Ontario, and of course our Provincial parks like the SandBanks.
• A bookstore and Cafe are located below. (Mmmmm…..Muffins & Coffee).

We stayed in suite #10, and our recommendation for guests who want a beautiful, romantic night in a spacious boutique at Picton Hotel is Suite #10.

Check this out: the Owner’s Suite had custom millwork and radiant floor heating. Many rooms are equipped with flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi, and they provide guests with a minibar, but his room also had an ambient fireplace that we could adjust using the remote.

We found this to be a quiet the room with and the location was perfect with a comfy King bed and complimentary bottled water. 

As you can see, there are options ranging from intimate single rooms to larger suites, and Cribs guarantees a delightful stay for everyone visiting Picton.

Are There Any Special Requests You Can Make?

When we booked, we talked with the owner directly, who assured us that our deposit would be refunded in full if we needed to cancel. He explained that they can offer personalized service as part of their goal to improve the guest experience. So, what does this mean?

He explained that they tailor to individual preferences in the type of rooms and services, meaning they can suggest certain rooms and provide recommendations for amenities or local attractions.

Keep in mind you are getting free wifi and free private parking and you are within walking distance to downtown Picton.
