I was here before, when this brewery first opened in PEC as a hop-heavy brewery. Now they offer more than just hoppy beers, YAY!.

While many IPAs often get most of the attention, I prefer a variety of craft beer to try out and now All My Friends Beer Co. in Bloomfield continues to impress me and now has quickly become a regular stop for me.

The name alone sets the tone.

There’s something welcoming about a place called All My Friends. It doesn’t sound pretentious. It sounds exactly like where you’d want to spend a relaxing afternoon with a cold beer, good food, and, well, all your friends.

First Impressions

Inside All My Friends Brewery

It can be a bit hard to find, as it’s on a back street in Bloomfield, but All My Friends has a fresh, modern feel while still embracing the laid-back charm Prince Edward County is known for.

The moment you arrive, you’ll notice that this isn’t just a brewery. It’s a gathering place.

Whether you’re visiting with friends or family, bringing your dog, or just looking for a quiet pint, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable.

The Patio: A Summer Must-Visit

The Patio

Let’s start with the pet-friendly patio.

As a long-time County resident, I’ve spent plenty of summer afternoons trying out patios across Prince Edward County, and All My Friends has created one of the nicest brewery hangouts around.

The outdoor patio is spacious, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying warm County afternoons and evenings.

There’s plenty of room to spread out, enjoy a beer, and watch the steady stream of visitors coming and going. It feels social without being crowded, which is a balance that’s harder to achieve than many people realize.

My Local Tip

If you can visit during late afternoon, you’ll enjoy some of the best patio weather of the day. The sun starts softening, conversations get longer, and nobody seems to be in a hurry to leave.

Also, bigger crowds are gone, and there’s lots of seating.

They also rotate their taps regularly, so if you have visited before, you may find a different lineup of beers available this visit.

Inside Seating for Any Weather

Inside seating

While the patio gets a lot of well-deserved attention, don’t overlook the indoor space.

The taproom is modern, bright, and comfortable, making it an excellent place even when the weather decides not to cooperate.

As every Prince Edward County resident knows, a perfect sunny morning can turn into an unexpected rain shower by lunch.

Fortunately, All My Friends is equally enjoyable indoors.

The seating arrangement encourages conversation, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to settle in for a flight or a leisurely pint.

The Beer: My German Pilsner and Pale Lager Experience

Now for the important part. The beer.

During this visit, I tried the German Pilsner, and it immediately stood out.

Crisp, clean, refreshing, with hints of hops but VERY drinkable, it’s exactly the kind of beer that makes you order a second glass while insisting you were only stopping for one. Sound familiar?

I also sampled the Pale lager, which quickly became my favorite as I’m not a hoppy IPA drinker. It was light, smooth, balanced, and easy drinking without the heavy malted barley taste.

As someone who appreciates straightforward, well-crafted lager beer styles, both of these hit the mark.

Another Unwanted Local Tip

Sometimes breweries get caught up in brewing increasingly unusual combinations involving marshmallows, breakfast cereal, or ingredients I can’t pronounce. All My Friends reminds us that a well-made pilsner or lager can still steal the show.

Mike’s BBQ Next Door: Come Hungry

One of the biggest advantages of visiting All My Friends is that you don’t have to worry about finding food afterward.

Mike’s BBQ is located onsite, and that’s fantastic news for anyone who believes great beer deserves equally great BBQ food.

The aroma alone can make ordering decisions difficult.

Expect classic barbecue favorites, hearty portions, and comfort food that pairs perfectly with a craft beer.

My Advice

Order the platter as it comes with a very wide selection of BBQ Faves; you’ll thank me later.

A Local’s Final Thoughts

Prince Edward County’s craft beverage scene continues to grow, but All My Friends Beer Co. stands out because it understands something important: people aren’t just looking for a drink. They’re looking for an experience.

Between the welcoming patio, comfortable indoor space, quality beer, and the smoky temptation of Mike’s BBQ, it’s easy to see why the brewery has become such a popular destination.

As a long-time Prince Edward County resident, I can honestly say this is one of those places I frequently recommend to visitors. Whether you’re a serious craft beer enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing afternoon with good food and good company, All My Friends Beer Co. delivers.

And if you arrive planning for a quick pint and leave three hours later after a German Pilsner, a lager, and more BBQ than you intended to eat, don’t worry.

Around here, that’s considered a successful visit.
